Start local SEO with what customers see when they find you. What do you offer, where do you work and how can they contact you? Your business profile and website should answer these questions consistently.
01 / STEP
Verify your business information
Use your real business name, a category that reflects your main activity, and the correct address or service area in Google Business Profile. Do not add extra service or city keywords to your name. Keep regular and special opening hours current, and check your verification status.
02 / STEP
Build your service page around customer questions
Our suggestion: clearly explain your main service, the areas you actually serve, the details needed for an inquiry and what happens next. Test phone and form links on a mobile device.
Read customer reviews regularly and respond helpfully. Use current photos that show your work. Google bases local results mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. You cannot pay Google for a better organic local ranking.
03 / STEP
Distinguish interactions from outcomes
A click on the profile’s call button is not a completed conversation. Assess website clicks and direction requests alongside inquiries that actually reach your business. Profile reports may also include interactions from ads.
